- Associate Professor - Posts - Basic Pay 139600 plus allowances in Central Government Pay Matrix Level 13A2 - PhD in concerned subject area and 6 years experience ; 4 paper publication in SCI Journal ; One Ph.D. guided as sole or principal supervisor plus one continuing. Two projects ongoing or one ongoing plus one completed. Two experiments or computational projects added to teaching laboratories where appropriate. Academic outreach activity equivalent to two self-financed short-term courses - Age limit 45 years
- Assistant Professor Grade I - Posts - Basic Pay 101500 plus allowances in Central Government Pay Matrix Level 12 - PhD in concerned subject area and 3 years experience ; 2 paper publication in SCI Journal ; One ongoing sponsored project for candidates from academia. ; Two experiments or computational projects added to teaching laboratories where appropriate - Age limit 40 years
- Assistant Professor Grade II - Posts - Basic Pay 71000 plus allowances in Central Government Pay Matrix Level 11 - PhD in concerned subject area and one year experience ; One paper publication in SCI Journal - Age limit 35 years
