Examination Details :

Examination will be conducted as OMR.

Paper I - Core Subject (Engineering) - Degree Level

• 200 Questions - Each 1.5 marks - 300 Marks - Time 180 minutes

Paper II 

• Paper IA - Tamil Eligibility Test - 100 Questions - Each 1.5 marks - 150 Marks - Time 90 minutes
• Paper IB - GK Test - 100 Questions - Each 1.5 marks - 150 Marks - Time 90 minutes
• 75 Questions in General Studies from Degree Level
• 25 Questions in Aptitude and Mental Ability (SSLC Level)

Kindly Note : 

Tamil eligibility test (That is Paper II Part A) marks will not be considered for ranking. But all the candidates must scored minimum 40% of questions i.e. 60 questions out of 150 questions. If any one failed to get score 40% marks in Tamil eligibility test, they will be treated as fail this entire exam.

Interview marks - 60 Marks. 

Total marks - 510 Marks for Interview Posts ; 450 for Non Interview Posts

There is no negative marking system.
