- (A) Post Graduate Degree in Fisheries Science (M.F.Sc.)
- OR
- (B) Ph.D. in Zoology / Marine Biology
- OR
- (C) B.F.Sc. with M.Sc. Biotechnology
- OR
- (D) MA / MSc in Zoology / Marine Biology with minimum three years research experience
Age limit details :
- Minimum age limit is 18 years should have completed.
- There is no maximum age limit for SC / SCA / ST / BC / BCM / MBC / DNC candidates and Destitute Widow of all communities.
- Maximum age limit for UR candidates is 35 years.
- UR candidates, who-ever working more than 5 years in government sector (state / central / psu) are not eligible to apply, even though they are in with-in the age limit.
Examination Details :
Two papers in MCQ type of examination.
Paper I : PG Standard - 200 MCQs - 300 marks - 3 hours exam.
Paper II (a) : General Tamil - SSLC Level - 100 MCQs - 150 marks
Paper I : PG Standard - 200 MCQs - 300 marks - 3 hours exam.
Paper II (a) : General Tamil - SSLC Level - 100 MCQs - 150 marks
Paper II (b) : General Studies (Degree Std Level) 75 MCQs ; Aptitude and Mental Ability Test (10th Std Level) 25 MCQs - Total 200 marks - 2 hours exam.
Interview / Oral Test - 60 marks.
