• Junior Reporter in Tamil Nadu State Police Subordinate Service - 29 Posts - Basic Pay 36200 plus allowances in Tamil Nadu State Pay Matrix Level 15  - 12th Std Pass with Tamil as one subject ; Stenography Senior Grade (English Typewriting Senior Grade and English Shorthand Senior Grade) ; Working knowledge in Tamil Shorthand (Certificate not essential)

• BC - 3 Posts
• MBC  / DNC - 9 Posts
• SC - 10 Posts
• SCA - 2 Posts
• ST - 1 Post

Age limit details :

Cut off date for age calculation is 01.07.2019

Minimum age limit is 18 years for all.

Maximum age limit is as follows : (should not have completed)

SC / SCA / ST candidates - 35 years

BC / BCM / MBC / DNC candidates - 32 years

UR candidates - 30 years

Additional 10 years age relaxations are applicable in addition with the above roster, for Persons with Disabilities.

There is no age limit for Departmental (police) candidates of SC / ST. All other Departmental (police) candidates age limit is 45 years.
