• Forest Watcher (வனக்காவலர்) - 465 Vacancy Posts - Basic Pay 16600 plus allowances in Tamil Nadu Revised Pay Matrix Level 3 - 10th Std Pass
• Forest Watcher (வனக்காவலர்) - 99 Vacancy Posts exclusively reserved for ST youths from specified districts - Basic Pay 16600 plus allowances in Tamil Nadu Revised Pay Matrix Level 3 - 10th Std Pass

Age limit details :

Cut-off date for age limit calculation is 01.07.2019
Minimum age limit is 21 years.
Maximum age limit as follows :
UR candidates - 30 years
BC / BC Muslims / MBC / DNC / SC / SCA / ST candidates - 35 years
Destitute Widows of all communities - 35 years
Ex-Serviceman - 30 years [Age = current age - service years]

Physical Fitness Details :

Male Candidates - Height : 163 cms  - Chest : normal 79 cms ; expansion 5 cms

Female and Transgender Candidates - Height : 150 cms  - Chest : normal 74 cms ; expansion 5 cms
ST and Jungle Tribes candidates :

Male Candidates - Height : 152 cms  - Chest : normal 79 cms ; expansion 5 cms

Female and Transgender Candidates - Height : 145 cms  - Chest : normal 74 cms ; expansion 5 cms

Examination Details :

Questions will be in Multiple Choice method (MCQ).

Question papers will be in Tamil and English.

There is no negative marks for wrong answers.

Exam subject : General Knowledge / General Studies.

Total Questions : 100 MCQs

Examination Centre :

Examination will be held in all districts of Tamil Nadu State.
