• Chairperson for Tamil Nadu LokAyukta - 1 Post
• Salary : ---
• Qualifications : a person who is or has been a Judge of High Court or a person who is or a person with 25 years experience in anti-corruption policy, public administration, Vigilance, Finance and Law.
• Member shall not be, —  a Member of Parliament or a Member of the Legislative Assembly of any State or Union territory; a person convicted of any offence ; a Member of any Panchayat or Municipality; a person who has been removed or dismissed from service of the Union or a State and;  a person holding any office of trust or profit (other than his office as the Chairperson or a Member) or be connected with any political party or carry on any business or practice any profession.
• Age limit details : Minimum age limit is 45 years 
• Post duration : 5 years, or until attains the age of 70 years.
• Members for Tamilnadu LokAyukta - 4 Posts (2 Judicial Members ; 2 Non Judicial Members)
• Salary : ---
• Qualifications for JM : as a Judicial Member if he is or has been a Judge of the High Court or has put in twenty-five years of experience in State judiciary with impeccable record;
• Qualifications for NJM : as a Non-Judicial Member if he has had twenty-five years of experience in anti-corruption policy, public administration, vigilance, finance and law.
• Age limit details : Minimum age limit is 45 years
• Post duration : 5 years, or until attains the age of 70 years.

• a person convicted of any offence involving moral turpitude
• a member of any Panchayat or Municipality
• a person who has been removed or dismissed from service of the Union or a State
• a person holding any office of trust or profit (other than his office as the Chairperson or a Member) or person connected with any political party or carry on any business or practice any profession.

General Instructions :

The Selection Committee shall constitute the Search Committee consisting of three persons having special knowledge and expertise in the fields specified in sub-section (3) of Section 4 of the Act. The Selection Committee shall nominate one of the members of the Search Committee as the Chairperson.
