• Scientist 'F' (Mechanical) - 1 Post for UR Quota - Basic Pay 131100 plus allowances in Central Government Pay Matrix Level 13A - BE / BTech Mechanical Engineering with minimum 16 years experience in Research and Development, Survey, Planning, Administration, Supervision or training, etc., in the general field of ocean technology & engineering. Experience in any of the following areas like deep sea vehicles, ship related systems, launching and recovery systems from on-board ships, floating body design and testing, ocean energy systems (wave energy, offshore wind, ocean thermal energy conversion) design and implementation - Age limit 50 years
• Scientist 'F' (Life Science) - 1 Post for UR Quota - Basic Pay 131100 plus allowances in Central Government Pay Matrix Level 13A - Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences Marine Biology / Biotechnology / Environmental Science with minimum 16 years experience in Research and Development, Survey, Planning, Administration, Supervision or training, etc., in any of the field of environmental science and engineering, marine biotechnology, cage culture of fishes, coastal ecosystems, climate change - Age limit 50 years
• Scientist 'D' (Civil) - 1 Post for UR Quota - Basic Pay 78800 plus allowances in Central Government Pay Matrix Level 12 - BE / BTech Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering / Ocean Engineering with minimum 7 years experience in Research and Development, Survey, Planning, Administration, Supervision or training, etc., in any of the areas of ocean technology or engineering like offshore structure design and implementation, coastal protection, port and harbor engineering, environmental engineering - Age limit 50 years
• Scientist 'B' (Civil) - 2 Posts (1 UR ; 1 ST) - Basic Pay 56100 plus allowances in Central Government Pay Matrix Level 10 - BE / BTech Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering / Ocean Engineering  - Age limit 35 years
• Scientific Assistant Grade 'A' (Electrical) - 1 Post for ST Quota - Basic Pay 35400 plus allowances in Central Government Pay Matrix Level 6 - Diploma in Electrical Engineering (DEE) - Age limit 33 years
