Job Profile :

The Global View of Star Formation in the Milky Way (GLOSTAR) is a blind survey of the Galactic Plane with the JVLA in the 4-8 GHz band. The selected candidate will utilize survey data (broad band continuum in addition to spectral lines of formaldehyde, 6.7 GHz methanol maser, and radio recombination lines) to carry out research on high-mass star formation. Complementary data taking and analysis with the GMRT using the new uGMRT system will be required. The candidate will have the opportunity to spend extended periods at the Max Planck Institute for Radio Astronomy.
