• Assistant Engineer - 25 Posts - Basic Pay 9300 Grade Pay 5100 plus allowances in Pay Band II category - Age 30 years
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (BE / BTech / BSc Civil Engineering)
• OR
• Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (A.M.I.E) membership (India), passed in Section 'A' and 'B'. Geology paper should be passed in section 'B' as additional / optional paper and 3 years experience in TNHB / PwD / Highways and Rural Works Department required.
• Surveyor - 19 Posts - Basic Pay 9300 Grade Pay 4200 plus allowances in Pay Band II category - Age 30 years
• 10th Std Pass
• AND
• Diploma in Civil Engineering (DCE)
• OR
• Revenue Department's Deputy Surveyor Grade I test passed. or
• TN Govt Technical Examination Board's Special Examination / Group Certificate in Surveying of the following subjects

Age Limit Details :

Cut-off date for age calculation is 01.07.2017

Minimum age limit is 18 years completed. 

Maximum age limit is as follows:

UR candidates 30 years

UR PwD candidates 40 years

BC / MBC / DNC / BC / BCM / SC / SCA / ST candidates 35 years

BC / MBC / DNC / BC / BCM / SC / SCA / ST PwD candidates 45 years

Ex-service-man candidates will get the age relaxation as per the government rule.

General Instructions :

If the candidates possessing essential qualification, without 10th std, their candidature will not be accepted.
