TNPSC Group-I 2016 Exam Posts :

• Deputy Collector in Tamil Nadu Civil Service - 29 Posts - Basic Pay 15600 Grade Pay 5400 in Pay Band III category - any UG (10+2+3 / 10+3+3) - Age GEN / UR Candidates 30 years ; all others 35 years
• Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) category I in Tamil Nadu Police Service - 34 Posts - Basic Pay 15600 Grade Pay 5400 in Pay Band III category - any UG (10+2+3 / 10+3+3) - Age GEN / UR Candidates 30 years ; all others 35 years
• Assistant Commissioner (Commercial Taxes) in Tamil Nadu Commercial Taxes Service - 8 Posts - Basic Pay 15600 Grade Pay 5400 in Pay Band III category - any UG (10+2+3 / 10+3+3) - Age GEN / UR Candidates 30 years ; all others 35 years (one year can be relaxed for Law Degree holders)
• District Registrar in Tamil Nadu Registration Service - 1 Post - Basic Pay 15600 Grade Pay 5400 in Pay Band III category - any UG (10+2+3 / 10+3+3) -  Age GEN / UR Candidates 30 years ; all others 35 years
• District Employment Officer in Tamil Nadu General Service - 5 Post - Basic Pay 15600 Grade Pay 5400 in Pay Band III category - any UG (10+2+3 / 10+3+3) -  Age GEN / UR Candidates 30 years ; all others 35 years
• District Officer (Fire and Rescue Service) in Tamil Nadu Fire and Rescue Service - 8 Posts - Basic Pay 15600 Grade Pay 5400 in Pay Band III category - any UG (10+2+3 / 10+3+3) -  Age GEN / UR Candidates 30 years ; all others 35 years

Age Limit for TNPSC Gr.I Posts :

• Minimum 21 years should be completed.
• Asst Commissioner (Commercial Tax) post: Law Graduate (LLB / BABL) or equivalent : 31 years for UR ; 36 years for SC / SCA / ST / BC / BCM / MBC / DNC and widow from all communities.
•  Asst Commissioner (Commercial Tax) post: All other Graduates (BA / BSc / BCom / BBA / BCA / BBM / BLitt / BFSc / BVSc / MBBS / BE / BTech) or equivalent : 30 years for UR ; 35 years for SC / SCA / ST / BC / BCM / MBC / DNC and widow from all communities.
• All other Posts : All Degree holders : 30 years for UR ; 35 years for SC / SCA / ST / BC / BCM / MBC / DNC and widow from all communities.

• One Time Registration Fee Rs.50
• Preliminary Exam Rs.75
• Main Exam Rs.125
