Educational Qualifications :

Professor : PhD and 10 publications with 10 years experience

Associate Professor : PhD and 5 publications with 8 years experience

Assistant Professor : Master's Degree with UGC / CSIR NET / SET / SLET Certificate or PhD
Principal : PhD with 15 years experience and stipulated API scores.
Director of Physical Education : MPEd / MSc Sports Science with UGC NET / SET / SLET or PhD and Physical Fitness as per UGC guidelines.

Librarian : MLIS / MSc Library and Information Science with UGC NET / SET / SLET or PhD

Salary / Pay Scale :

Professor : Basic Pay 37400 Academic Grade Pay 10000 in Pay Band IV

Associate Professor : Basic Pay 37400 Academic Grade Pay 9000 in Pay Band IV

Assistant Professor : Basic Pay 15600 Academic Grade Pay 6000 in Pay Band III
Principal : Basic Pay 37400 Academic Grade Pay 10000 in Pay Band IV plus 2000 special allowance

Director of Physical Education : Basic Pay 15600 Academic Grade Pay 6000 in Pay Band III
Librarian : Basic Pay 15600 Academic Grade Pay 6000 in Pay Band III

General Instructions :

Applications must be submitted in TRIPLICATE (3 set of copies).

Application Registration Fee Rs.300 for SC / ST ; 500 for BC / MBC / UR candidates.

Fee can be paid by Demand Draft in favour of "Registrar, Alagappa University" payable at "Karaikudi"

Foreign candidates should pay USD 250 extra for interview through video conference.
