Madras High Court's Stay Order for 157 Junior Sericulture Inspector Recruitments : Department of Sericulture issued corrigendum notification on 16th May 2015 regarding relaxation of 6 months experience for JIS Post. Now, Hon. Justice Hariparantharaman, given interim stay order against this notification (i.e. 2nd announcement of Dept of Sericulture is invalid). But there is no restriction for doing the recruitment process, vide notification dated 09.05.2015 in department of sericulture.

General Instructions for AIS and JIS Posts of Dept of Sericulture :
- Cut off date for Qualifications 09.05.2015.
- Applicant must studies in 10+2+3 or 10+3+3 study pattern for AIS Post.
- All applicants must studies Tamil and General Science as one papers in 10th Std Level.
- Age relaxations and roaster system will be followed as per Government of Tamilnadu.
Who can apply for Sericulture Dept Jobs?
- Physical Fitness required : Male applicant should walk 6 kms distance within 30 minutes time and Female applicant should walk 4 kms distance within 30 minutes time.
- As per new amendment by the Department of Sericulture Salem, Govt of Tamilnadu, vide their corrigendum dated 16.05.2015, 6 months experience / 6 months certificate course is not mandatory, hence BSc Chemistry / BSc Botany / BSc Zoology degree holder can directly apply for Assistant Inspector of Sericulture Post (6 months certificate course not required)
- For Junior Inspector of Sericulture post, whoever having 10th Std / SSLC / Matriculation can apply (6 months certificate course not required)
How to apply Tamilnadu Department of Sericulture vacancy :
- Application Fee Rs.100 for all communities.
- Fee Should be paid by Demand Draft in favour of "Director of Sericulture, Salem" Payable at Salem.
- Enclose 2 set of self addressed envelope cover duly pasted with Rs.25 postage stamp.
- Prescribed application forms are available from Directorate of Sericulture Salem or you can download it from website.

ReplyDeleteReservation rules applicable as per government of Tamilnadu norms. Hence, you can able to apply for Assistant Inspector of Sericulture and Junior Inspector of Sericulture Posts. Today Sericulture Department modified the Educational Qualifications for theses posts. (6 months training certificate course not required).

In Press Notification and Application Form (Top) they clearly mentioned Rs.100 for Each Application Professing Fee. Today, when we try to contact the Directorate of Sericulture, but no one is pick up the phone. If possible you try and confirm it. Thank you

ReplyDeleteOfficially you are not eligible this post. While seeing in depth of the Post Description and Qualification 'Agriculture' may also include it. So do not see right or wrong...just apply it. After apply, Send a request letter stating that Agriculture subject also include for base qualification of AIS post to the Director, Department of Sericulture Salem. If possible, you can file a case in high court.

DeleteHi Sri, Column No.20A and 20B is now modified, with corrigendum issued by Dept of Sericulture. One base qualification (BSc) only enough for to apply AIS post. Once the candidates selected for the AIS post, they will send them to pursue 6 months certificate training course.

ReplyDeleteDepartment of Sericulture does not given any syllabus for written examinations so far. While seeing in the basic qualifications pattern, you can prepare as follows for common written exam dept of sericulture recruitments 2015 .
DeleteJIS (Junior Inspector of Sericulture) : for this post base qualification is SSLC, so you can prepare with SSLC Std books Science, Social Science and Mathematics (Same as TNPSC Group 4 syllabus / TN Govt School Lab Assistant Exam syllabus).
AIS (Assistant Inspector of Sericulture) : for this post base qualification is Science Graduate in Botany, Zoology and Chemistry. So you have prepare UG Level books for the same subjects. You can refer model questions and answers (study materials) TNPSC old Questions and Answers, If time permits we will provide it soon. All the best for your success.
They mentioned that it is subjected to some pending case in Madras high court will it bother us after passing in written

Once the candidates selected for appointment, Department of Sericulture will give the 6 months training programme, so do not worry, your application is eligible. ReplyDeletesir, from where i could get the medical fitness certificate. it should be given by the physician with MD qualification. the fitness certificate should be attached while sending the application form or later. pls clarify me sir.
ReplyDeleteany one Govt Hospital Doctor ( minimum Surgeon Rank) can issue the certificate. Normally they will college 100 or 200 rupees for this certificate. If you have luck, you may get it, at free of cost.

ReplyDeleteDear Mr Ajaykumar Ajay, BSc Chemistry, BSc Botany and BSc Zoology is essential Qualification for Assistant Inspector Sericulture of Sericulture and Just 10th Std Pass is the qualification for Junior Inspector of Sericulture Post. You have mentioned MSc Biotechnology, But not mentioned about your UG Degree Details, If your Bachelor Degree come under botany, zoology or chemistry, you are eligible to apply, otherwise you can apply only for JIS Vacancy.

Sericulture Dept even not get Certificate of Sericulture course candidates, so your wife's qualification BSc Sericulture definitely will be accepted. Enclosed requesting letter separately along with application form for this qualification. Apply AIS post.If they reject the application, do not hesitate to file case.

Rs.100 only DD for Exam fee. Because 300 is mentioned only one place, it may be typographical error. 100 is mentioned 2 places (1. News Paper Advertisement, 2. First Page Top in Application Form).

So you can prepare TNPSC Group 4 questions and answers, TN School Lab Assistant Exam Materials (yesterday's Question Paper), Tamilnadu TET Exam Materisl.

DeleteAbout Medical Fitness Certificate : Medical fitness certificate should be obtained from Government Hospital Doctors, who are in the Surgeon Rank. Most of the doctors having the Medical fitness certificate format.

Prepare 6th to 10th Std Maths, Science, Social Science Books of Samacheer Kalvi Pattern. We are trying to post materials for Sericulture exams.

ReplyDeleteNormally, Ministry of Defence, asking to send the applications through ORDINARY POST only, but JIS / AIS post Department of Sericulture not instructed any thing about it. Hence, there is no restrictions for mode of delivery of applications. But, our safe side always send your application form by REGISTERED POST with Acknowledge Due.

DeleteMale candidates needs to walk 6 KM distance within 30 minutes and Female candidates needs to walk 4 KM distance within 30 minutes. It is better to keep medical fitness certificate with you. (either you can enclosed it with your application or can show it while Certificate Verification. In your case, don't get panic. your enclosures are correct.

ReplyDeleteDept of Sericulture said that SSLC is minimum qualification for JIS pot and BSc botany, BSc zoology and BSc chemistry for AIS Post. They are not mentioned BSc Sericulture is eligible or not. We do hope, if these three (che / bot / zoo) is possible to eligible means, why not BSc sericulture? You apply for AIS post also. Otherwise, all BSc Sericulture graduates joined as group and file a case.

ReplyDeleteDear Mr Elumalai Pazhani, Did you read the application form. It is clearly mention that you have to enclose necessary documents. Any way past is past. Hope, you have photocopy of your application form. Take one photocopy of your filled application form set and enclose all necessary documents copy (duly self attested). Write a request letter to accept the photocopies, enclose the same and forward it to the authority again (Please send it by Registered Post with AD)

Deleteyes...buy 2 numbers envelope cover and buy Rs.25 stamps + Rs.25 stamps. Paste the stamps each one cover. Write your Name and Full Postal address in both covers (To address area). Now enclose these 2 covers with your application form.

Delete1. Bachelor's and Master's Degree of Sericulture must be included as a essential qualifications.
2. Written Exam marks must be included for final selection marks.
3. OMR sheet must have carbon sheet facility.
4. Candidates should allow bring out questions paper after the examination over.
5. Before publish the exam result, Dept should publish the Official Answer Key.
6.Dept of Sericulture must publish, all candidates marks.

ReplyDeletemamyou said 100 RS DD is enough, but today am went to sericulture office salem for give a application, at the time i met one person they said application cost is RS 100 and RS 300 for exam fee, who are all did't enclose DD of 300 that application will be rejected, i didn't give application because bank time is over so i m not taking of 300 RS DD, what will do?
ReplyDeleteIn Daily Thanthi Advertisement they said clearly Rs.100 for Application Fee. Also they mentioned application fee Rs.100 in top left side corner they clearly mentioned. But they mentioned as 300 in 3rd Page (serial No.22) . But they are clearly mentioned 300 as exam fee. It is looks like a printing error. If they want 300 Rupees for examination fee separately, why they are mentioned in Press advertisement?

DeleteIf they want 300 exam fees they should mentioned in Press advertisement clearly. In Press advertisement they did not mentioned about exam fees. Even they are not confirmed about examination, tentatively they said, if number of applicant is large quantity received then they will conduct the exam. So there is no clear cut instructions about Rs.300 Fees.
Deletein the fourth page of application bottom there is two address slip . these address slip we have to cut these and paste in the two set of postal cover or not

So many times, we try to contact the Department of Sericulture Salem via Land Line Telephone, but there is no reply. Salem candidates, or near by applicant directly go to Salem office and meet the Director. Discuss about this problem. If it is 300 is additional exam fee means, request them to give extension date to provide DD. If it is not possible to go directly send detailed letter (Tamil or English) to the Director, DoS, Salem by Registered Post with AD.

ReplyDeleteWe have already explained about this question. please read above questions. JIS post basic is SSLC Standard. So prepare TNPSC Group 4 Study materials. It likes only for Salem candidates . ...only they give application column NO 22 . 300 . what meant for it ... And we are try for Salem land line but they are not response you are told it is printing mistake because we applied the application but now told the department 300 rs enclose ..what's meant your help ....it is your help? ReplyDeleteOn the courtesy base, they should give extra time for pay Rs.300 DD. Send complaint about this matter to CM Cell (online facility available). If possible all the applicant can join and file writ petition in high court.

ReplyDeleteToday we went to the sericulture office.they said many of applications have been rejected because we failed to attach both 100 and 300 rs DD. They didnt mentioned clearly for rejecting the applications .they said if many persons are providing letter for resubmission of dd,they will extend the date.

DeleteAs per Court Directions, now-a-days, recruitment procedure changed. Direct Candidates should be allowed for interview along with Candidates suggested by Employment exchanges.
