Detailed Vacancy Positions :

• Assistant Inspector of Sericulture (AIS) - 43 Posts - Basic Pay 9300 Grade Pay 4200 in Pay Band II category  - 
• (i) Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry / Botany / Zoology (BSc) or any BSc Degree with Chemistry as a main subject with 6 months experience in sericulture 
• AND
• (ii) 6 months practical experience training in sericulture firm / farm**
• or 
• (ii) 6 months training course for Graduate holders from Govt Sericulture Training Institute Hosur
• or 
• (ii) Post Graduate Diploma in Sericulture (PGDS) at Tamil Nadu Agriculture University Coimbatore (TNAU Coimbatore)
• Junior Inspector of Sericulture (JIS)  - 257 Posts - Basic Pay 5200 Grade Pay 2400 in Pay Band I category  (Monthly Gross Salary Rs.16000 approx.) - 
• (i)  SSLC / Matriculation / 10th Std / Class X Pass 
• AND
• (ii)  6 months practical experience training in sericulture firm / farm**
• or 
• (ii)  6 months training course for Non-Graduate holders from Govt Sericulture Training Institute Hosur

Age Limit Calculations for AIS Post :

• Cut off date for Qualifications 01.07.2015
• SC / SC Arunthathiyar / ST No Age Limit
• Destitute Widow of all communities including UR / GEN. No Age Limit
• BC / BC Muslims / MBC / DNC No Age Limit
• UR / GEN 30years
• Persons with Disabilities (PwD / PH) can avail 10 years relaxations additionally along-with their communal quota.

Age Limit Calculations for JIS Post :

• Cut off date for Qualifications 01.07.2015
• SC / SC Arunthathiyar / ST 35 years
• Destitute Widow of all communities including UR / GEN. 35 years
• BC / BC Muslims / MBC / DNC 32 years
• UR / GEN 30 years.
• Persons with Disabilities (PwD / PH) can avail 10 years relaxations additionally along-with their communal quota.
• In case, BC / BC Muslims / MBC / DNC / SC / SCA / ST / Destitute Widows having more than the prescribed qualifications, they can avail No Age Limit facility (ie No Age Limit is applicable)

General Instructions :

• All applicants must studies Tamil and General Science as one papers in 10th Std Level.
• Age relaxations and roaster system will be followed as per Government of Tamilnadu.
• Application Fee Rs.500 for all including SC / SCA / ST / PwD / Destitute Widow / BC / BC Muslims / MBC / DNC / UR.
• Selection through written test.

• Those, who-ever not enclosed a valid experience certificate will get a refund of examination fee from the department.
• But, we strongly recommends you to please apply again freshly. Do not wait for refund letter from department.

The following certificates are not valid.
1. Certificates from Private Silkworm Seed Production Centres (Grainages).
2. Certificate from Private Poli-Clinic Centers (sericulture).
3. Certificates from Private Silk Reeling centres.
4. Certificates from Private Cocoon centres.
